Military

  • Combat Tested

For almost 20 years, AMREL’s well-known ROCKY computers have been a welcomed sight on the battlefields. Warfighters know that in mission critical situations, their ROCKY computing solutions will come through for them. AMREL integrates the latest technological advances for Biometrics, Robotics, and Communications, while preserving the mature computing platforms that soldiers have relied upon for nearly a generation

  • Proven Toughness

Unlike some “compliant” computers, all ROCKY’s Military platforms are certified by an independent party to meet MIL-STD 810and MIL-STD 461. Also, our computers utilize a Fault Tolerant Isolation Design, a unique feature that protects individual components from water, dust, and other particulates. Best of all, end-users have the special confidence that comes from using computers that rate a TRL of 9, which results from AMREL platforms having passed the ultimate test of in-theater deployment

  • AMREL Delivers What You Want

The Military market is unlike any other; lives depend on the solution precisely meeting the requirements of the application.  Our long-term experience with supplying Defense needs has resulted in exceptional customization capabilities. In fact, we are the only rugged computer manufacturer who has built their business model and core technology around customization.
AMREL extends the manufacturer’s warranty to cover customizations for low as well as high volume orders. We specialize in simple, one-box solutions that eliminate peripherals.

  • Going Beyond the RFP

AMREL doesn’t just rely on its in-depth expertise or the specs from the latest RFP.  We go out and get feedback from the end-users and other members of the Defense community.  That’s why you’ll find our experts and solutions at TARDEC’s Robotic Rodeo, Stiletto ISR demonstrations, and Tactical Network Topology (TNT) field experiments.  When you get one of our customized solutions, you know you’re getting a system based on the needs of the warfighter, not ours.

Handheld can be used as a PDA and a walkie-talkie: email, audio record & playback, video record/playback, wireless network, full VOIP & data transmission. Operate successfully in harsh military maritime conditions.
